We stayed at Gasthof Konig Karl in Black Forest as part of a motorcycle tour with friends. The location was perfect for riding the twisting mountain roads. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and served a good breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had the best evening meal of our entire holiday at the popular Greek restaurant downstairs. The room itself was a pleasant surprise, immaculate and with a large bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the flexible check-in time with a keybox.

We had a lovely romantic escape in the beautiful town of Freudenstadt. The hotel room was clean and had a modern atmosphere, which added to the overall experience. We were pleasantly surprised to find a refrigerator in the room, allowing us to keep our drinks and snacks chilled throughout our stay. Additionally, the flexibility of the check-in time through the keybox was a convenient feature that enabled us to start our getaway on a relaxed note. Furthermore, the hotel's location was perfect for us, as it was a short and pleasant walk of about 15 minutes to the vibrant town square.

There were a few minor drawbacks during our stay. First, the hotel's proximity to a street with traffic and a ground-floor Greek restaurant caused some noise disturbances.

There were some limitations with the restaurant connected to the hotel, as they did not allow guests to bring drinks to the beer garden.

During my recent business trip to Freudenstadt, I had the opportunity to stay at Gasthof Konig Karl, a hotel chosen by our director. The location of the hotel was perfect, with several fitness studios conveniently located nearby. This allowed me to easily maintain my exercise routine while on the road, ensuring I stayed healthy and energized throughout my stay. The availability of these fitness studios was a great benefit and made my experience at the hotel even more enjoyable.

Quite an odd little gasthof.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely mind-blowing! The room was SUPER clean and modern, complete with a convenient refrigerator. The flexible check-in time with a keybox made things so easy. I was in awe of the cleanliness and quality of the facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus, the popular Greek restaurant downstairs served the most jaw-droppingly delicious meal of our entire trip. I couldn't have asked for a better stay!
